| The recent news of Shawn Hornbeck being found 4 1/2 years after being abducted has taken a bizarre twist today. Amid reports that he had many many chances to contact adults (and even police), news reports surfaced that he may have seen his parents' website set up to search for him and he may have actually posted in their guestbook. In one post "Shawn Devlin" (Devlin is the name of his kidnapper) he asks how long they're going to look for their son. In the next he apologizes and asks if he can write a poem about their son. In this one, his spelling is atrocious (somewhat consistent of somebody who stopping going to school at the age of 9). how long are you planing to look for your son? All this is rather chilling. Why didn't he speak up? This case seems to be different than many of those other cases where children are isolated and are told that their parents died or don't want them anymore. shawn it has been to long. every night i sit in my bed and think about what happened to you or who has you.
