This is just a reminder to myself as to the source I use to replace my Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) batteries. It's batterymart.com. I have three APC Back-UPS Pro 500 systems -- one for my computer, one for my wife's and one for the Tivo. Although they don't stay powered for long -- probably 30 minutes max and much less if things like monitors are on -- they do help deal with the power outages that occur. Our power here is relatively unreliable. We seem to get some short power outage about once a month on average. So these things come in handy. I can also hear them clicking into action occasionally to deal with power spikes. Anyway I just ordered another three batteries. They seem to wear out every 2-3 years.
