| Business Trip to Torrance |
| Just a month on the job and I'm on a business trip to Torrance, CA. If I had joined a couple of weeks earlier, I probably would have had a trip to Japan already. Oh, well, no big hurry. In Torrance, we're doing some usability testing -- testing the user interface on our client's staff. It's pretty interesting. Even with just a few test subjects, the problem spots are quickly brought to light. Most of the issues are things we already knew were problematic but we need the evidence from the testing in order to raise the visibility / priority of the issues. |
