| I discovered this a while ago, (but actually not that long ago) and thought I'd post it here for posterity. Check it out. This is a 5k version of Wolfenstein the popular 3D video game that was invented over a decade ago. Wolfenstein is the forerunner of Doom, Tomb Raider's Lara Croft and the whole genre of games like this. 5kb of javascript (not Java) -- that's about two pages worth of a typewritten letter. Creating a video game of any type, let alone a 3-d graphical one, with just this amount of code is just amazing. It kind of makes one reevaluate the powers of javascript. |
